Kristiansund, Kvernberget, Norway
Kristiansund is a city and municipality on the western coast of Norway, in the Nordmøre district of Møre og Romsdal county. It was officially awarded township status in 1742.Kristiansund was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The island and municipality of Grip was merged with Kristiansund on 1 January 1964. The island and municipality of Frei was merged with Kristiansund on 1 January 2008. Population today is around 30.000 people.

This is a nice, small airport. There is no handling agent, other than SAS ground handling. Avinor helps you through the gate in/out from Appron. Nice staff and very friendly. You’ll find a nice cafeteria in the terminal building next to Avinor.

Recommend booking through their homepage. This is a nice hotel, located close to the Police Station, and near the harbor inlet. Very nice view. This hotel is used by a lot of air crew from SAS when they are in town. Price from 1000 NOK to 1600 NOK for a single room incl. breakfast. The hotel has a own bar in the basement and on the top floor. Recommended!

A very nice karaoke bar where you can buy a beer or a drink, and sit down and talk, or rule the dance floor if that is what you want. Crowded and very popular. Minimum age is 21. Usually CC 50 NOK in the weekends. Recommended.
